Another semi-empty post. My work on AE has been so slow lately. I don't know what's happening. I just end up not working on it when I have free time.
Lots of things are going on. When I get a chance, I doodle around with tiles and such.
I haven't touched the code in a while. I think I might delve into it a little bit tomorrow, after work.
Everything is a possibility and might not happen. I want to get my butt moving and start producing some more great stuff with AE. I think it's just the event editor creation that I am dreading. I think I might just have to go learn some of the link header file stuff - linked lists. I'm pretty sure that will most definitely help me out with the event editor.
I also need to create and implement 'directions' for the player character. That's something I have totally skipped from the beginning. I need to write the code which will show different frames of animation according to the direction the player is facing. I am hoping to use the 8 general directions, and have graphics for all: up, down, left, right, and diagonals in all directions.
I hope this upcoming week will produce some good results. I really do hate having to write a post with no achievements having been made. :(

Wow. Long time - no post. Sorry to inform you, but I've been rather busy and haven't been able to work on AE at all! :(
In the free time that I did have I found some MOD (music) tracking software. I am going to fiddle around with that.... I might change the music from MIDI to MOD. I'm not really sure. I need to see which file format I like better, and which is easier to use. I'm pretty sure it will be MIDI in the end. In order to use mods I would have to download an addon library for allegro, and I'm not too sure I want to do that.
So, in essence - this post is to let you know I'm still alive, and thinking of massive concepts for AE, etc. :)

3 new tiles today. Check them out to the right. I added a little 'wall' type tile to add some sort of height for when there's a bridge. Looks a lot nicer. If I could make better tiles, it would look real - but for now this will have to do. I also had a lighter style tile, if you didn't want such a dark red cliff type wall.
That's about all for now. Whenever I'm on a roll I have to go to work. Darn!

Aha. Long time - no update.
I've been slacking - sorry! :) I've got some response about my tutorials over the past few days. It got the gears cranking in my head and I've got some new ideas for some tuts. I know for a fact I will make one having to do with timers - but I'm not too sure exactly what tutorial that will be. I want to cover some more basic stuff before I get into more advanced items.
Other than that.. no new tiles... no response from my LSMenu tester.. and no new programming. Sorry! Lulls happen!
I love it when I get mail from people telling me to get off my arse and just start working. That kind of motivation is the best!
