Updates have been very sparse lately. That side project I mentioned in the last post has been eating up most of my free time. It's turning into more of a reality than just a side project and has pushed my platforming game off to the side completely. Hopefully in the upcoming days or weeks I'll announce what it is that I'm working on.

It's been quiet over the past few days. This is for two main reasons which won't take much time to explain. First: after doing all of that coding work to bring the game up to snuff I realized it was time to get the documentation up to date. While playing around in the code it was very apparent that the documentation was lacking. Therefore, I started an effort to document everything in the wrapper library. After that, I hope to document much of the game itself, too. That means in addition to your generic comments explaining complicated things, there would be descriptions at the beginning of each file as well as headers for every single function definition explaining the arguments it takes in, what it returns, and other assorted notes. Most of my wrapper library has been refactored, and I must say it looks a lot nicer.

Second: While I'm reluctant to say much about it right now, I have started work on a little side project that has been going along very well lately. It's a nice break from the monotonous documentation process. In addition, it's also a nice break from the game itself. I have the freedom to write crazy code (for now), and I like it! More details on this project, should it be deemed worthy to fully pursue, should be revealed in the coming weeks.
