Pickle On! is loomsoft's response to the GDR Coding Challenge for September 2006. The main goal of the challenge was to create an interesting and fun game that can be played in the resolution of a traditional webpage banner ad. The official rules were as follows:
- You can develop using any language, library or game-maker you want. It would be nice if the finished entries were Windows executables, so the maximum number of people can try out and critique your game, but don't worry too much about this if you can't build for that target.
- Your submitted entry must contain all the necessary graphics and sound assets, extra libraries, dll files etc. in a single zip file, which can be unzipped and run from a folder. Please, no installers unless it's really necessary.
- Your finished game must fit into 468x60 pixels. Colour depth doesn't matter, nor does screen resolution, but no pixels drawn outside of that area, please :-)
- The competition runs for a month
